Greece .2007
Flying with Emirates, I’m heading for Greece.
The land of Zeus and the Golden Fleece.
Walking of goat tracks to look at flowers,
Something I can do for hours and hours.
Maybe mythical Zorba will ask me to dance,
Ah. deluding myself now, I’m past romance.
Tried learning a few phrases in Greek,
When I get there I hope its English they speak.
Staying on the beautiful Island of Crete,
Seeing the Labyrinth will be a treat.
So to my friends at home “ goodbye”.
I’ll have a great time ; I really will try.
